The Real Value Isn't the Task, It's What I Notice While I'm In It
I recently discovered my Human Design with Mindy Crawford in a free masterclass - part of the ongoing work I do to keep learning and growing (much more to come on that in future posts). While I have only brushed the surface of understanding my human design, what I did learn is I am gate 56: a Projector.
In only a few short minutes of research about gate 56, I very quickly realized I was right where I meant to be. I never really took a moment to understand why starting Tide Together was lighting me up, or how I’ve been successful in supporting clients across various industries and projects.
Gate 56 isn’t just about storytelling, it’s about taking experiences from one world and weaving them into something new in another. Cross-industry thinking isn’t just a skill I learnt, it’s a gift I was born with.
How does this integrate with my business? I’ll share a look at how my brain works as a Gate 56 Projector when working with my clients, and where I bring them more value than they even realize:
↘ I’m working with an interior designer client on implementing a 3 tier pricing system (instead of only offering one option). This way their leads are considering all their offering options and not comparing others.
↘I took that same philosophy over to my builder client and proposed it to his business. This same client I’ve been working on elevating his close out binder for new builds & renovations. This elevates his business by leaving his clients with a professional binder of their project recap & specs, warranties, before & after photos and more.
↘I then weaved the close out binder idea to my mortgage broker client. We’ve created a mortgage close out binder to differentiate her from other brokers. Included in the binder are things like trusted partner network, what to do near maturity, details of their mortgage and more. This was a great addition to the nurture campaign I’ve been working on to improve growing her business beyond funding.
↘ Thinking beyond funding then had my brain thinking of an idea for my event space client. If a client has booked an event, how can we keep them coming back to future events at the barn, or booking again. We are brainstorming different events, marketing email campaigns, promotions and more.
The real value in working with me isn't the task, it's what I notice while I'm in it as a projector.
Turns out, I was wired for this.
Have you ever taken a look into your human design? And better yet, have you understood your natural super powers and how to utilize them or highlight them within your business? Drop your thoughts in the comments, I’d love to hear more about your human design.
